چکیده
Abstract In this paper, we analyze a combination based on hybrid triple hop terrestrial free-space optical (FSO), fiber optic cable (FOC), and an underwater wireless communication (UOWC) link for providing high-speed connectivity between onshore submerge systems. UOWC, scattering, absorption, turbulence severely degrade the reliability transmission rate of UOWC link. our manuscript, bend-insensitive intermediate FOC spatial diversity (SD) are exploited to improve error performance links, which involves deployment multiple input single outputs (MISO). For purpose, different signaling schemes, such as pulse position modulation (PPM) with (SM) on–off keying (OOK) repetition coding (RC), employed evaluate system in terms average bit (ABER). The behavior entire is obtained by applying decode-and-forward (DF), where consider log-normal channels FSO UOWC. path loss using intensity direct detection schemes. To obtain results, Monte Carlo-based statistical simulation method applied validate analytical ABER system. achieved results reveal that MISO-OOK-RC has superior compared MISO-PPM-SM higher signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions strengths.

Spatial Mode Diversity for Robust Free-Space Optical Communications
Free-space communication links are severely affected by atmospheric turbulence, which causes degradation in the transmitted signal. One of the most common solutions to overcome this is to exploit diversity. In this approach, information is sent in parallel using two or more transmitters that are spatially separated, with each beam therefore experiencing different atmospheric turbulence, lowerin...

This paper investigates fading correlation in space-diversity free-space optical (FSO) communication systems and its effect on the link performance. We firstly evaluate the fading correlation in multiple-aperture FSO systems using wave-optics simulations. The influence of different system parameters including the link distance and aperture spacing is illustrated under realistic beam propagation...

متن کاملOptical Adaptive Precoding for Visible Light Communications
Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) techniques have recently demonstrated significant potentials in visible light communications (VLC), as they can overcome the modulation bandwidth limitation and provide substantial improvement in terms of spectral efficiency and link reliability. However, MIMO systems typically suffer from inter-channel interference, which causes severe degradation to the s...
